AI for Impact

Align Your Voice, Amplify Your Growth

A Two-Part Lab Series for Ethical, Human-Centred AI in Messaging & Fundraising

AI is reshaping how organizations communicate and fundraise — but tools alone don’t create impact. Strategy does.

In this two-part, hands-on AI for Impact series, we’ll help your nonprofit or social purpose organization master both the message and the methods. You’ll leave with the tools, templates, and confidence to create content that reflects your values and brand voice, and to use AI to uncover new funding opportunities and donor insights — without losing the human touch.

Join us for 2 value-packed sessions.

Your registration includes both for the full experience.

“The workshop provided in-depth information and innovative ways to use AI in fundraising… Unlocking innovative ways to use ChatGPT. The prompt samples were so helpful… I have less resistance and believe that in building ethical safeguards, we can transform the fundraising industry, allowing especially smaller organizations an opportunity to (access) more sophisticated tools and resources.”

Brand Voice & Messaging Lab

October 7

Roll up your sleeves and define how your organization sounds, what you stand for, and how to make your appeals resonate.

Note: This is an in-person work session, also available online for those outside of the GTA.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Develop or refine your organization’s key positioning — describing what you do, how you do it, and why it matters.

  • Identify the type of language and voice that works best for your audience and mission.

  • Learn how to create high-converting appeal letters and campaigns that reflect your values and brand voice.

  • Practice using AI as a writing assistant (not a replacement) to help you produce aligned, compelling copy faster.

You’ll leave with:

  • Your brand voice guide

  • Messaging pillars you can share across your team

  • A draft appeal letter or campaign message ready to use

Fundraising is time-consuming — but AI can help you uncover opportunities and insights faster, so you can focus on building relationships.

In this live online session, you’ll:

  • Build a custom AI assistant to find aligned grants, sponsors, and funding partners that fit your mission.

  • Learn how to feed AI the right information so you get relevant, actionable results.

  • Analyze donor and campaign data to uncover trends, quick wins, and strategic insights — even if you don’t have a fancy CRM.

  • Practice ethical and strategic AI use for prospect research and fundraising planning.

You’ll leave with:

  • A functioning AI prompt or “assistant” for funding research

  • A donor insights template

  • A step-by-step process for integrating AI into your fundraising workflow
